Seven Days in Sunny June… wait, it’s November
November 23rd, 2008As if the world just toppled over, rotated the other way, my working status went from busy to too very busy. I’m not complaining. I actually love it. Yes, Hataraki Man mode was just lurking around, workaholic me never changed.
I’m glad to be very busy. I am even more glad to being able to get things done well and be appreciated for it. This is how I like work to be – insipiring, causes good stress, distracts one (me) from glumnes of (my) life, there’s direction, there’s schedule, and yes there’s good money.
The projects I’m doing right now are mostly design and front-end development but I had the opportunity to learn a few new things like JQuery. I just finished a new layout design and heavens it feels great. I even got to upload a new design for my aging portfolio! I have time to read about new web stuff, new things to learn and try, finding inspiring things on the web. I found myself starting to get driven to design again, and more. It’s a good thing.~
My whole coming week is full of design and coding so I need to keep this focus. I hope this continues. Perhaps by next year, I can fight with the big boys again.

Your portfolio looks good.
