Utada – Apple & Cinnamon (lyrics)
March 13th, 2009I can’t get Utada’s voice out of my head and this song’s echoing in my ears the whole day so I wrote down the lyrics. ~I hope I got it all right.~
Utada’s newest US music market effort is the album This is the One , sounds definitely like the one. I really hope that she gets promoted better this time and get the attention deserving of an absolute Jpop Queen that she is.

This one’s for my friend Chenn. ^_^

Utada – Apple & Cinnamon
tell me what is on your mind
help me coz i like to know
what the hell is going on
never thought i’d sing this song
let’s not get started with the “he said, she said”
sometimes it just doesn’t go on as planned
(2x)
started out so simple and innocent
so simple and innocent (3x)
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
like apple and cinnamon (3x)
i can’t believe that you and me were falling out of love
and everybody used to be so envious of us
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
what we had was just too good
good to last
happiness don’t last that long
what we had was beautiful
let’s not get started with the “he said, she said”
sometimes it just doesn’t go on as planned
(2x)
started out so simple and innocent
so simple and innocent (3x)
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
like apple and cinnamon (3x)
i can’t believe that you and me were falling out of love
and everybody used to be so envious of us
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
what we had was just too good
good to last
please dont look at me like that
please dont look at me, dont look at me like that
you can’t look at me like that
please don’t look at me, don’t look at me like that
i can’t believe that you and me were falling out of love
and everybody used to be so envious of us
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
what we had was too good
started out so simple and innocent
so simple and innocent (3x)
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
like apple and cinnamon (3x)
i can’t believe that you and me were falling out of love
and everybody used to be so envious of us
chemistry like apple and cinnamon
what we had was too good
good to last
