Holy&%* A Life-sized Gundam!
April 22nd, 2009Holy otaku! It’s a life-sized Gundam!
A 59-feet-tall 1:1 Gundam robot, lying down in its base at Mount Fuji in Japan is being completed in celebration of Gundam’s 30th anniversary.
Holy otaku! It’s a life-sized Gundam!

Right, sorry I said that already, but it’s a life-sized, standing Gundam! The huge Gundam statue, intended to be finished this July 2009. “Fifty points on the Gundam statue will emit light, and mist will shoot out of 14 different points on the statue. The 1/1 scale Gundam will boast a moveable head” (source)

Imagine seeing that just outside your window. ^______^
A 1/1 scale Gundam was built for Fuji-Q Highland amusement park back in 2007, but that one was not standing up. Obviously, that was not enough.
