Ever want to go to a great place but you know, even if you are the world’s most hopeful little critter, you will never ever get to see it? Sounds so bad, ne? Death of wishes and dreams but today, we can easily see photos of places almost anywhere with just a few clicks because of the internet. Google Maps had turned this up a notch by giving us see a satellite view of the world and, I just found this one out so it might be old news - a panoramic street view.~
My search for Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan (Possible future L’Arc~en~Ciel concert venue!)
How to View a Place in Panoramic Street View
1. In Google Maps website, enter the name of the place you would like to see. More specific would be great or with known landmarks to start with.
2. Activate the screen in Satellite mode to see a top view of the places.
3. On the left side of the screen is the zoom tool, where you can zoom in and out of the picture. On top of it is a yellow person icon. =) Drag this guy on the map and it’ll highlight in blue - areas where you can place him to view that area in panoramic street view!
This does not apply to all places/maps probably for lack of images. I think there are definitely places where you can’t do this for security reasons as well!~
Enjoy!!!~
