Today,  January 4, 2010,  Burj Dubai opens and officially becomes the world’s tallest skyscraper with 169 floors (160 floors, habitable), top floor is said to be 10 degrees colder than ground floor. Despite the debt and negative news about Dubai World, it’s newest engineering marvel with 26,000 windows (8 weeks to keep clean) is already 80% full / occupied with residents soon to move in.

If it’s anything, it’s another a testament to what human beings are capable of and can overcome despite all the struggles. There’s always a way when we want it bad enough. This one, literally aims to reach for the sky.
