Those Little Apps that Make a Difference
March 5th, 2010Here’s a list of some little apps that I use or have used before that’s simply just handy dandy helpful.~

Sticky Notes for your desktop

And save some trees by using the Sticky Notes application instead of paper Post-its.

Deskpins

This I think is my favorite and use the most because I just have tons of apps opened at one time especially when I code. And since I don’t have a multi-screen system to let me lay out everything I need, this little tool helps me keep focused.

DropBox
URL: https://www.getdropbox.com/
Dropbox had become my ultimate fangirl tool for sharing – you don’t evern realize your download/upload is done! My friends and I use this a lot and highly recommended.

TweetDeck for Twitter
URL: http://tweetdeck.com/beta/
I follow a lot of web people and resource sites in Twitter. Tweetdeck just makes it easier for me to see the latest tweets from people who matter.
Firebug for Developers
URL: http://getfirebug.com/
Firefox Add-on
One of, if not the most, useful tool a web developer would ever need. Understand your page my looking through a window to your code via Firebug – from HTML to CSS to Javascript.
