The korean group FTIsland is coming to the Philippines for their Manila 2010 Showcase this March 6, 2010 at the PICC Plenary Hall (starts 6PM).
I just received this email from SpinManila. According to the email, SmartBro is giving away free/discounted tickets the FTIsland Manila 2010 Showcase!

This I think is my favorite and use the most because I just have tons of apps opened at one time especially when I code. And since I don’t have a multi-screen system to let me lay out everything I need, this little tool helps me keep focused.
I recently started learning Liferay Theming for a project at work. It’s been a while since I tried a new CMS, so I was a bit excited to learn something unknown to me. Liferay is a Java-based CMS and as I am more familiar with PHP and PHP-based CMS such as Wordpress and Joomla, that’s an added challenge if I’d like to venture on making portlets (equivalent to plugins).
Today I found the article Liferay PHP Developers Guide by Dennis Monsewicz through Liferay’s Twitter account which I follow. Apparently in Liferay you can develop portlets in PHP, ASP, JSP, Ruby, Groovy, Python, etc. “Scripting language agnostic”. =) Nice.

I can’t wrap my head around it yet, if it’s a good marketing tactic promoting your city to the extreme like that or it’s a big no-no because you’re using the brand name of Google which I am not sure is allowed.
